World Masters Games Interior Design

After completing the identity and look & feel for WMG we embarked on the design of not one, but two head office spaces. The idea was to create a gallery of sport celebrating the many sporting moments and epic victories from youthful athletes to the 100 year olds! The theme was based on the positioning line of 'Start unknown, finish unforgettable' to compliment the World Masters Games tagline – 'For the love of sport'. We went on a buying spree to gather second hand sports equipment, paint it all in the brand colours, and build on the playful interior story.

The gallery consisted of sporting quotes, memorabilia (some of which was given away as a thank you), and equipment reshaped for a different purpose - such as the road bike chandeliers, the basketball hoop rubbish bin and the javelin's flying across the room into the board room. We wanted easter egg moments at every corner with a wink and for the love of sport.
